Best before date

From the time of production, our meals can be stored for 12 months if kept correctly. You will find the exact best before date on the packaging of each individual meal. Please store the meals in the freezer. The ideal storage temperature is -18 °C.

Two weeks before the best before date, the affected products are removed from our warehouse.

The best before date is a guideline that indicates the date until which we guarantee that the unopened product retains its specific characteristics such as smell, taste, and nutritional value, provided it has been stored correctly at all times. If the cold chain remains uninterrupted, our meals can often be enjoyed well beyond this date, as they are frozen.

Please note that frozen foods can also spoil, although the process happens much more slowly. This means you may receive freshly produced meals with the best before date of around one year, or meals with a shorter remaining shelf life. Both are completely safe. 

If the best before date has already passed upon delivery, please contact our customer service immediately and include a photo so we can assist you quickly.
