Curious where our ingredients come from and how your meals are produced? 🥕 

In this article, you will learn everything you need to know about the ingredients and production of the every meals.

Are all meals vegan?

All our meals are fully plant based and made from 100 percent natural ingredients, without artificial additives, preservatives, or flavour enhancers. This also means that all meals are lactose free.

Please note: Our Ginger Turmeric Shot currently still contains honey. This is clearly stated in the product description. The recipe is being revised so that it will soon be 100 percent vegan as well.

Where do the ingredients come from?

When sourcing our ingredients, we follow very strict sustainability criteria. Most of our ingredients come from regional and domestic farming in Germany. When selecting our suppliers, we place great importance on the principles of organic agriculture to promote biodiversity and protect the environment. We know exactly where every single ingredient comes from.

The vegetables are harvested at their optimal level of ripeness and then shock frozen at minus 40 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this shock freezing process, nutrients, taste, and texture are preserved as much as possible, completely without chemical additives.

We know exactly where each ingredient comes from and are currently exploring ways to track our ingredients live on our website and on the packaging to offer you maximum transparency.

Where are the meals produced?

Our wide range of meals is produced in Northern Germany by a partner facility certified according to the highest standards, IFS and BRC. Safety checks and quality controls accompany the entire production process, from ingredient delivery to the finished meal.

The meals are then shock frozen again, packaged, and stored in frozen warehouses until they are handed over to our delivery partners. This is how we ensure optimal shelf life without preservatives.
